“Roc the Mic” is a showcase collaboration between Roc Nation School of Music’s Brooklyn Soul Ensemble and Rock/Pop/Folk Ensemble. Their performance at Chelsea Factory showcases curated ensemble sets and solo student performances of original songs.
Brooklyn Soul Ensemble (BSE) is a hip-hop and R&B performance ensemble focused on songwriting and live performance of original and popular songs.
Rock/Pop/Folk Ensemble students present a mix of rock, pop, and folk songs, performing classics from the contemporary song canon along with self-composed songs.
