The 2022 Ladies of Hip-Hop Festival wraps up with a one-on-one hip-hop, waacking and house battle, Ladies Battle! Doors will open with a stellar, all-female DJ line-up, spinning hip-hop, funk, house, soul, and classics. The battle will host international competitors intensely jockeying for a top spot. Winners will be awarded cash prizes, gift bags, and one-year “bragging rights” as some of the world’s best female hip-hop dancers!

About Ladies of Hip-Hop:
Ladies of Hip-Hop is a Black, women-led non-profit dedicated to the empowerment of women and preservation of street and club dance forms. What started as local workshops in Philadelphia has transformed into a week-long festival gathering the global community to support and celebrate women in New York City. Ladies of Hip-Hop also hosts LDC, its own dance collective creating works that demonstrate the power of street and club dance styles. Over the last 18 years, Ladies of Hip-Hop has provided a platform for women leaders, ensuring the voice and experience of women in hip-hop are remembered.
