Bare Opera’s FireSongs by Thomas Cabaniss is a song recital in motion. Moments of change that span lifetimes. A shared embodiment of poetry and song. There are moments of ignition, conflict, respite, and reckoning. Director Malena Dayen creates a multi-layered world of film, light, and images that surrounds the singers as they travel from here to the end.
