Andrea Miller


Andrea Miller is a choreographer, artistic director, and founder of GALLIM, an NYC-based dance company dedicated to art, education, and community building. A creator and collaborator for dance, film, fashion, and the visual arts, Miller is known for her exploration of the essential elements of human behavior and the alchemy of movement and performance. Her works are performed worldwide, including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The V&A, Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, The Joyce, Jacob’s Pillow, BAM, Royal Albert Hall, Sadler’s Wells, Théâtre National de Chaillot, among others. Recent commissions include English National Ballet, New York City Ballet, Martha Graham Dance Company, Rambert2, and Ailey II.

Miller is a Guggenheim, Sadler's Wells, NYCC, and Princess Grace Fellow. Her repertory, creative methodology, and dance training are taught through GALLIM’s School of Movement as well as institutions including The Juilliard School, Harvard among others.

Miller is a graduate of The Juilliard School, and serves on the board of Chelsea Factory and The Doris Humphrey Foundation.
