Jeff Burroughs, a seasoned marketer and brand strategist with nearly three decades of experience, possesses a remarkable talent for identifying and executing strategic partnerships that drive brand growth and expand their value through creative collaborations. He is the visionary founder of Whtwrks, a dynamic creative and strategy agency dedicated to enhancing brands’ value. In his role, Jeff oversees high-level strategy and provides direction to the agency’s clients, including industry giants such as Smirnoff, Chase, BET, and Disney.

Jeff’s recent accomplishments include the successful launch of Smirnoff’s Lemonade strategy, brought to life through a series of engaging activations at some of this year’s most prominent multicultural events, including Summer Jam and The BET Awards.

With a career spanning diverse sectors of entertainment and marketing, Jeff Burroughs served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Def Jam Records, where he spearheaded innovative campaigns for notable artists like Justin Bieber, Kanye West, and Grammy-nominated Jhene Aiko.

Prior to his role at Def Jam, Jeff held the position of Head of Commercial at Simon Cowell’s renowned television production entity, Syco. Here, he played a pivotal role in shaping the global brand positioning of iconic franchises such as The X Factor and Got Talent, orchestrating integrated campaigns for major brands like Pepsi and Verizon. He also masterminded the successful headphone brand, The X, in collaboration with Sony Electronics.

During his tenure as Head of Bad Boy Worldwide Entertainment Group under Sean “Diddy” Combs, Jeff Burroughs orchestrated the growth of the company across multiple verticals, including apparel, television and film, spirits, and charitable initiatives.

Jeff’s exceptional career has garnered attention from prestigious publications like Billboard, Fast Company, and The New York Times. Additionally, he is a founding member of the Task Force for Meaningful Change, demonstrating his commitment to making a positive social impact in his industry and beyond.
